The Buffermin® line of products are designed to have a vastly higher degree of bioavailability than traditional inorganic minerals such as sulfates or oxides. Buffermin® Proteinates are a line of chelated trace minerals that combine an amino acid and hydrolyzed protein source with an essential mineral.
Proteinated minerals have show to have positive effects on the following:
- Feed conversion ratios
- Immune response
- Increases milk output
- Milk and egg quality
- Less minerals in waste
- Less incidence of heavy metal contamination
These products give the advantage of high nutrient availability as well as being a good quality protein source to add into a diet. Buffermin® Proteinates have a higher uptake rate than inorganic metal salts alone. By complexing natural ingredients with mineral salts, Buffermin® Proteinates are safer and produce less harsh metal waste than do their inorganic counterparts.
Currently there are nine Buffermin Proteinate mineral formulations available: calcium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, selenium, and zinc.
