Sales Representative (2 positions)

This position works directly with growers and distributors to sell agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and biological products. Plan and implement sales and marketing plans for the assigned territory. Position requires a B.S. degree in an agricultural related field such as agronomy, soil science, crop production, ag business, or horticulture. Current PCA license required. Must be knowledgeable in vegetable, fruit, nut, and grape crops plus have experience working in a farm environment. Candidate must be able to stay 2-8 nights away from home per month. Bilingual is helpful, but not required.

Position pays salary in addition to commissions. Position is located on the west coast. Prefer candidates living in the assigned area.

Product Manager

Seeking a qualified person to fill a Product Manager role in our growing plant products team. Our company is a world leader in safer and organic products. Qualified applicants shall have at least a BS in Plant Science, Soil Science or related field. Applicant should have a California Pest Control Advisor’s License or the ability to obtain one within one year. Applicant must have a broad understanding of the agricultural industry and a working knowledge of fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides (prior technical experience in these areas is a must).  Must be comfortable and proficient with MS PowerPoint and giving formal presentations. 

Job duties will include conducting field research and providing technical support to sales and marketing teams. Applicant will spend a good majority of their time working directly with distributors and PCAs to design and implement trials. Knowledge of statistics is desirable. Traveling will be required on a regular basis to attend trade shows, seminars and various meetings.
