Sales Representative – Southern California

This position works directly with growers and distributors to sell agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, and biological products. Plan and implement sales and marketing plans for the assigned territory. Position requires a B.S. degree in an agricultural related field such as agronomy, soil science, crop production, agricultural business, or horticulture. Current PCA license required. Must be knowledgeable in vegetable, fruit, nut, and grape crops plus have experience working in a farm environment. Candidate must be able to stay 2-8 nights away from home per month. Bilingual is helpful, but not required.

Position pays salary in addition to commissions. Territories include Southern California (south of Hwy 80 to the Mexico border) and Arizona. Salary DOE.

Animal Nutrition Salesman

Seeking a qualified person to fill the position of technical and sale support in our growing animal products division. Qualified applicants shall have at least a BS in Animal Nutrition, Animal Husbandry, Animal Science or related fields. Applicant must have a broad understanding of the agricultural industry and a working knowledge of animal nutrition and animal feeds (prior technical experience in these areas is a must). Position is based out of Ventura, California.

Technical Support Agronomist

Seeking a qualified person to fill a non-supervisory, technical support position in our growing plant products team.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Conducting field, lab, and greenhouse research studies
  • Preparing draft technical reports, summaries, and presentation materials
  • Interacting with local growers, greenhouse operators, and cooperators to perform experiments
  • Travel with and provide technical support to sales team on a regular basis

Human Resources Assistant

Seeking an energetic, motivated, organized person to fill our Human Resources Assistant position. In this full-time position, you will be a key player in the Human Resources Department, with the opportunity to provide better services to all employees and participate in improving employee benefits with other team members.

Your job duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assists department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees
  • Assists in administration of the compensation program; helps monitor the performance appraisal process
  • Participates in benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting and approving invoices for payment
  • Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel; helps coordinate the use of temporary employees
  • Conducts new-employee orientations; administers pre-employment tests; conducts reference checks
  • Assists in the exit interview process
  • Assists in organizational training and development efforts
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database as needed
  • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
  • Helps maintain company organization charts and the employee directory
  • Assists in updating Employee Handbook
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned


  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Have a basic understanding of labor laws
  • Have an Associate’s degree (prefer Bachelor degree)
  • Human resources experience
